Congratulations on Becoming a Saint!

Now that you have been accepted at Our Lady of the Lake University, here are your next steps:

Check your Application Status Page regularly. This is where you will find your acceptance letter and credentials needed to access “Self-Service” where you can to view your scholarship status.

1. Getting Started

Your temporary password and more information on this step are available on your Application Status  page.

The $100 deposit will be applied to your tuition bill after you attend an advising and registration appointment. The deposit is required before you can complete the next steps.

Pay your Deposit

During this appointment, you will set your class schedule for your first semester. An adviser will email you with appointment options.

After you have submitted your enrollment deposit and completed your advising and registration appointment, you will be able to sign up for Lake Day Orientation through your Application Status page. First-year international students are not required to attend orientation orientation but are strongly encouraged to do so if possible.

2. SEVIS and Homeland Security Requirements

After being admitted, and receiving an estimate for the cost of attendance, you must submit these documents to the Office of Undergraduate Admission before OLLU can generate your I-20.

Upon receipt of your I-20, be sure to sign (in blue ink) and return it to OLLU as soon as possible.

3. Before Aug. 1

This step is available in the OLLU Application Status page within three days after submitting the $100 enrollment deposit. Once you log in, click on the next steps tab to submit your housing application. You will not be able to submit the housing application if you have not submitted an enrollment deposit. 

International students are required to be insured by the OLLU-approved provider, Wellfleet Insurance, and may not waive or substitute with their own policy. Instructions on how to apply are available on the OLLU Health Services web page.

4. Before Classes Begin

Depending on the payment options you selected, your first payment will be due July 1 or Aug. 1. Review payment plan information here. Payments can be made through the “Student Finance” link in “Self-Service ” (requires your OLLU username and password).

You must ask your high (secondary) school to submit your final transcript with graduation date. It can be submitted electronically or to the address below. In addition, if you opted to submit test scores but have not submitted an official SAT or ACT score report, ask your school administrator to include a score report with your transcript. Score reports also can be requested from the College Board (SAT) or American College Testing (ACT). Use the following OLLU test codes: ACT - 4140, SAT - ​6550. If you have any IB or Advanced Placement credits, please submit them to the Admissions Office.

Texas State law (SB 62) mandates that all entering students under the age of 22 provide a certificate signed by a health care provider or an official immunization record verifying that the student has been vaccinated against bacterial meningitis or has received a booster during the five years preceding admission to the university. Instructions for submitting vaccination record are available on the OLLU Health Services web page.
