Accreditation

Our Lady of the Lake University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges  (SACSCOC) to award bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees. Contact the Commission on Colleges at 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097 or call 404-679-4500 for questions about the accreditation of Our Lady of the Lake University that fall under one of these areas: (1) to learn about the accreditation status of the institution, (2) to file a third-party comment at the time of the institution’s decennial review, or (3) to file a complaint against the institution for alleged non-compliance with a standard or requirement.

Additional Accreditations

In addition to the university-level accreditation, several other OLLU programs hold professional or specialized accreditations. 

Communication and Learning Disorders

OLLU’s graduate training program in CDIS is accredited in Speech-Language Pathology by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association  (ASHA): 2200 Research Boulevard #310, Rockville, Maryland 20850-3289. Business

OLLU's undergraduate and graduate business programs are nationally accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The ACBSP is the leading specialized accreditation body for business education.

Psychology

The Counseling Psychology PsyD program is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) and meets the specialty guidelines for the delivery of services. The San Antonio campus Master of Science degree in Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE) of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). The Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy (COAMFTE) is responsible for establishing standards of competence in clinical education for the profession of marriage and family therapy, and for the review and recognition of programs successfully meeting these standards. 

The Houston campus Master of Science degree in Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE) of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). Social Work 

OLLU's Social Work programs are accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), which is recognized as the sole accrediting agency for social work education in the United States and its territories.
