Residence Life Important Dates

Residents will receive detailed information about the check-in times and location for their scheduled move-in date. This comes from the Office of Residence Life a few weeks before their move-in.

Resident Fall Move-in Schedule

• August 4, 2026 – Student athletes in Volleyball, Soccer, or Spirit Team
• August 8, 2026 – Flight School
• August 12, 2026 – Living Learning Community (LLC) such as Futuro, Terracina, Social Justice, and TExAS FAST (USDA - Environmental) & Returning student athletes
• August 13, 2026 – Freshmen/First-Year Students
• August 14, 2026 – Returning students

Resident Fall Check-Out

• December 12, 2026 – Students may check-out anytime during the week, but no later than 12pm on Saturday, December 12. Residence halls close for Winter Break. Also, Slater Apartment residents who have a 4-month room type will need to check out for Winter Break too. Follow the guidance provided to you by the Office of Residence Life.

Resident Spring Check-in Schedule

• January 8, 2027 from 9am – 5pm – New and returning residents check in

Resident Spring Move-Out Schedule

• May 7, 2027 – All students may check-out anytime during the week, but no later than 5pm on Friday, May 7. Follow the guidance provided to you by the Office of Residence Life.

Resident Summer Schedule

• These dates will vary depending on each summer term. Please refer to the summer contract and guidance from the Office of Residence Life.

Resident Applications

• Housing applications for the 2027-2028 school year will first open up to returning students in March 2027. New student housing applications will open up in April 2027.
• Housing applications for Summer 2027 will open up in April 2027.
