Special Interest Organizations

The following student organizations are Recognized Student Organizations (RSO). These groups operate on a voluntary and self-governing basis. These groups are funded through membership dues, fundraising projects and funding allocations from the Student Government Association.

The Alliance

This group promotes an alliance between lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and straight students, faculty, administrators, staff, alumni and visitors by embracing diversity, promoting inclusiveness, infusing solidarity with all people of faith, and supporting community needs. 

Association of Black Students (ABS)

ABS celebrates African-American heritage through educating the university community about the rich diverse culture of the African American community. 

Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA)

Enhancing opportunities for business students, while expanding Latino leadership in the global workforce and advancing the Latino culture in the professional business community. 

Earth Club

Help save our planet with earth saving projects, green tips and pledges to protect the Earth. 

Freedom Fighters Gaming Club

This organization unites OLLU gamers in a relaxing environment.

The Lions Club

The Lions Club works to create and foster a spirit of understanding on the university and community levels by promoting the principles of good citizenship and taking an active interest in the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of the community.

Needlework Club

The Needlework Club educates the OLLU community about the benefits of needlework both as a personal hobby and for charity to outside organizations. 

Pro-Life Saints

An organization that shows the interest of the importance of human dignity with each individual. 

Social Justice Organization

Serves the community by showing, helping and advocating for those in need. 

The Society of Grammar Gurus (SGG)

Provides educational instruction in English grammar for every day and professional applications. 

Student Veterans of America

An organization of student veterans serving student veterans. The organization's mission is to support the pursuit of education and advocate for student veteran issues. Retirees, veterans, reservists, National Guard, active duty and separated service members are welcome.
