Convocation - State of the University: The Official Start

Convocation, led by President Chávez, marks the beginning of the academic year – celebrating our heritage while committing to bold new goals together. 

All San Antonio faculty and staff are required to attend the second day in-person unless excused. Hybrid options available for some sessions; see the full schedule for details.

This academic year, 2026, marks the beginning of a new season at OLLU. Professional development days are a time for faculty, staff, and internal stakeholders to come together and experience togetherness, the OLLU spirit, and set our eyes on the coming year, welcoming the new class of 2026.
