Transfer Plans and Equivalency Documents
OLLU has developed transfer plans in conjunction with two-year colleges that allow students to transfer the maximum number of credit hours to OLLU.
The following guides contain a list of courses from other institutions and how they transfer to OLLU.
Transfer Credit for Prior Experiences - Education Department
In accordance with 19 TAC §228.35(B) and Our Lady of the Lake University's admissions policies, transfer students will have their transcripts reviewed by a transfer adviser in cooperation with the Education Department. In addition, because OLLU honors students with prior educational experiences, transfer students to the Education Department will also have their transcripts evaluated, on a case-by-case basis, to ensure that the experience, education or training was provided by an approved EPP or an accredited institute of higher education within the past five years, and is directly related to the certificate being sought.
Transfer Credit for Prior Military Experience - Education
Candidates may be granted credit toward course assignments for prior or ongoing military service. Military service must be directly related to the certification sought in order to be considered. Credit toward courses may be granted based on an evaluation by the prograem faculty and service members and veterans military record (s). To request a transcript evaluation for course credit, contact the Registrar's Office. No credit will be given toward field experience, clinical teaching, practicum or internship requirements.
