Handshake is an online resource provided by the CCDT that offers students/alumni:

  • Access to internship and job postings
  • Ability to schedule career advising appointments
  • Registration for career events
  • Access to career resources and articles
  • Option to setup mobile notifications for new internships and jobs in their desired field

Those who wish to schedule a one-on-one meeting with a Career Adviser may do so through Handshake .

Career Advising

The CCDT staff is available to meet with students and alumni to provide assistance with career planning and the job search process. The Center for Career Development and Testing staff assist you with:

  • Professional document creation and review including résumé, cover letter, and Curriculum Vitae
  • Enhancing your interviewing skills through mock interviews
  • Job search strategies
  • Discovering your ideal career industry and major based on career assessment results

Résumé Development

Students and alumni may receive assistance with their résumés, cover letters and/or curriculum vitaes by scheduling an individual meeting with a CCDT Career Adviser through Handshake . Appointments are available for in-person meetings as well as online appointments for students/alumni not able to visit with us in the office.

Interview Preparation

The CCDT offers interview preparation through Mock Interview appointments. During this appointment, you will discuss interview prep, complete a mock interview, and learn strategies for post interview success.

Career Success Plan

We have designed a Four-Year Career Success Plan  for students to use to help them navigate the various stages of the career services and internship process throughout their collegiate career.

SEEK E-Portfolio Program

OLLU’s e-portfolio program, known as SEEK (Skills, Experience, E-Portfolio, Knowledge) helps students build extensive online portfolios to use when creating resumes for job and graduate school applications and interviews.  The CCDT offers student training and support of Handshake as well as continuous refinement of your resume and e-portfolio. Clothing Closet

In need of clothes for work or an interview? Come check out our Clothing Closet.

Students should make appointments through Handshake to visit the Clothing Closet and explore the inventory.

NOTE: We are currently accepting donations of clean, lightly used professional or business casual clothing in all sizes. We cannot accept donations of pantyhose, socks, jewelry, or shoes.
