The Luminaria Arts Foundation has awarded a $10,000 literary arts grant to Octavio Quintanilla, PhD, former San Antonio Poet Laureate and Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) associate professor of English, Mass Communication and Drama.

OLLU announces plans for fall reopening
OLLU is assembly a team of faculty, staff and student leaders to begin planning for the opening of the three university campuses for the fall semester. The team will be guided by health and safety practices recommended by the Centers for Disease Control, World Health Organization, Texas Department of Health Services and the local health districts in each of the communities served by the university.

10 OLLU clinical teachers are on the front lines of elementary digital learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. They are planning lessons with their cooperating teachers, assess work and meet with students through digital platforms.

Beginning in fall 2020, there will be no extra fees for books and digital course materials for OLLU undergraduate students.
