OLLU hybrid commencement exercises set for May 8

OLLU will hold hybrid commencement ceremonies for spring 2021 graduates with in-person and virtual events on May 8.
The day will begin with a special event for graduates who are veterans at 9 a.m. It will be followed by the Baccalaureate Liturgy at 11 a.m. and a Hooding Ceremony for Doctoral and MFA graduates at 3:30 p.m.
The Commencement Address Ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. and will be followed by a drive-up Degree Conferral Ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Graduates will be able to proceed through the Main Building Plaza, in their vehicles, to receive their diploma, have their picture taken with President Diane E. Melby and have their degree conferred in front of the Main Building. Guests will remain in the vehicle but will be able to view the graduate having their degree conferred as the vehicle will be allowed to drive in front of the commencement stage.
