Student Success Center
Welcome to the Student Success Center at Our Lady of the Lake University! It is our sincere hope that you find your experience at OLLU both a rewarding and educational one. The Student Success Center is specifically responsible for advising and counseling all OLLU students with less than 30 credit hours as well as guidance, tutoring, and academic support for all university students. All offices within the Student Success Center work together to ensure that students have all of the resources they need to be successful at OLLU
The Academic Counseling Center advises students as they transition to college. Advising appointments are scheduled once students have been admitted to OLLU.

LLU's TRiO Programs help students overcome class, social and cultural barriers to higher education. Congress established a series of programs to help low-income Americans enter college, graduate, and move on to participate more fully in America's economic and social life. OLLU has two TRiO Programs: McNair Scholars Program and Student Support Services (Project Student Excellence).

Student Support Services
The Writing Center provides students with assistance in interpreting and completing writing assignments including spelling, punctuation, sentence structure and style. The Writing Center also provides assistance with documentation and citation. Students, faculty, staff, and alumni are able to utilize the Writing Center's services.

The Disability Services Office provides accessibility to students requiring accommodations through the provision of a wide variety of services tailored to each student's documented needs.

The Retention Office's primary goal is to guide students to graduation. The staff collaborates with University faculty and staff to make sure that students receive a quality education and have the necessary tools to complete their degree programs.

The Assessment Center administers a variety of tests including the ACT, the College-Level Examination Program Tests (CLEP), the Miller Analogies Test (MAT), the departmental tests for advanced, and assessment of life/work experience
