Mary Rita Partlow is completing her 10th year as artist-pianist-in-residence at OLLU, where she received her B.Mus in 1953. A master’s degree in piano performance from DePaul University began her career in teaching, performing, directing and composing. Notable teachers include Katja Andy, Theodore Lettvin, William Albright and Elisenda Fabregas. Partlow has performed nationally and her compositions for children have been performed by the San Fransisco Children’s Chorus. She shares her music through accompanying dance, directing musical shows and playing for hospitals and nursing homes.

Partlow is a board member of the San Antonio International Piano Competition, and is an elected member of the International Society for Music Medicine and the Tuesday Music Club.
