MASS COMMUNICATION

Students who major in Mass Communication go on to become journalists, videographers, graphic designers, web editors, public relations’ and marketing professionals, and television and radio producers, to name but a few of the media fields open to graduates.

Plus, many use their degrees to assist in disseminating the messages of corporations, and government and non-profit organizations.

Mass Communication students acquire valuable skills that can help them enter the competitive marketplace. These skills include learning:

  • industry-standard software in areas such as editing and design
  • how to be an effective communicator both visually and in written form
  • the theoretical and practical sides to the media
