Our Lady of the Lake University offers an innovative slate of majors and degrees unlike any you’re likely to encounter elsewhere. Because of our location and deep Hispanic roots, we’ve designed programs that not only speak to your intellectual and professional needs, but also to our regional workforce requirements.
OLLU offers the following compelling choices:
• 33 bachelor’s degrees, 14 master’s degrees and two doctoral degree programs with unique areas of study, including pioneering programs in Hispanic marketing and mariachi music education
• The opportunity to earn dual-language certification with any of our undergraduate degree programs
• A computer information and security degree program certified by the National Security Agency as a National Center of Academic Excellence
• Pre-professional programs in pre-dental, pre-medical, pre-nursing, pre- occupational therapy, pre-optometry, pre-pharmacy, pre-physical therapy, pre-physician’s assistant, pre-veterinary and pre-law
• Teacher certification in art, biology, computer information systems and security, English, history, liberal studies, mathematics, music, chemistry, political science, social studies and Spanish
• Certificate programs in borderland studies, criminal justice, gerontology, Mexican American studies and violence prevention and intervention
