SPS Mission Statement
The mission of the School of Professional Studies (SPS) is to prepare our graduates to work with culturally and linguistically diverse persons within various professional contexts. We provide accredited professional programs that are delivered by a faculty who is actively engaged in scholarly and community directed activities. Students are offered opportunities for research, observation of professional practice, field experiences, service learning placements, practica, and internship experiences to enhance their preparation as future practitioners. The academic curricula and support services within the SPS reflect innovation, student-centeredness, and commitment to service as inspired by the Congregation of Divine Providence.
