THE FIRE: May 6, 2008
The fire on May 6, 2008, became the city's first four-alarm fire in more than nine years and caused major damage to the historic Main Building - the first structure erected on the more than 113-year-old campus.
For the close-knit community of Our Lady of the Lake University, the fire marked the beginning of a journey that has led to a renewed sense of momentum to surge ahead with faith in Providence and a united spirit that is stronger than ever.
