Mission Statement:  
La Sociedad Hispana Cultural aims to: “Promote and celebrate the Hispanic historical and intellectual heritage  through the encouragement, support and validation of the members’ academic achievements by their participation in educational programs designed to inform, enhance and strengthen the University’s and surrounding community's knowledge of Hispanic culture.”

Membership:
Membership is open to anyone who is willing to be an active participant in helping the club attain its goals and who has met the requirements of being a member of a campus organization as stated by the University. Las Posadas
Every year, La Sociedad Hispana Cultural sponsors the celebration of the Mexican tradition of Las Posadas, which is the largest event sponsored by a student organization on campus. Visit the Las Posadas page .
