OLLU is a fun and dynamic campus with more than 50 student organizations.
For the academically ambitious, there are 17 honor societies to choose from. For those interested in Greek life, there are three sororities and two fraternities, each a self-governed service organization that promotes the core values of the University.
Many students make meaningful connections in special interest organizations, such as The Association of Black Students, which celebrates African American heritage, and Mizuumi Anime Club, which promotes an understanding of Japanese culture through media and art.
Aside from the buzz of student organizations, the campus hums with Mariachi concerts, art openings, plays, lectures and an annual Literary Festival. Students enjoy a Mexican American film festival, cheer at Saints’ sporting events and relax and socialize in our oak-shaded Mall Area, one of the most popular spaces on campus. A favorite campus event is “Best of the West,” an annual celebration of the finest music, food and art on the city’s West Side.
