Computer Labs

ITS' modern computer labs offer high end Windows and MacIntosh systems along with laser printing, DVD drives and a variety of up to date software.  Labs are open to current OLLU faculty and staff, and to all OLLU students in degree programs.

Anyone wishing to use the computer labs must have a log on ID and password to use a computer.  In general, the labs can not be used by non-OLLU personnel unless they have been authorized to do so. Individuals abusing lab rules or misusing t

heir computer accounts can have their privilege to an account suspended or revoked.

Dedicated "Student-Use" Labs

In an effort to ensure that OLLU students have access to computing resources, five labs have been designated "student-use only". Additional computer labs accross campas are considered classroom labs. For this reason, the schedule for access to these labs is not set until class schedules have been finalized. Students may use these labs when classes are not in session.

Printing Services

Most labs are equipped with black and white laser printers. Currently, there is no limit to laser printing in the labs for currently enrolled OLLU students.

Color printing services are also available in the "student-use" lab (Library 110). Because of the high cost of color printing, a limit of 25 color pages per month per student is in place. If needed, additional color printing services can be purchased. Every student can access information related to their color printing balance and stats by using the "PaperCut" URL located on the desktop on every lab computer.

Workstations in this category have been set-up with furniture which meets ADA requirements for access.

Reserving a Computer Lab
Computer lab reservations are handled via the using Express Request Web Requester. This online process simplifies the scheduling of computer lab and other university resources. Reservations can also be made by calling the Registrar's office (ext.2318).
