Living On Campus

The residence halls will be open during the spring semester for students on the San Antonio campus with the same significant adjustments that were made in the fall semester. To accommodate the need for social distancing in the residence halls, OLLU is adopting the following initiatives:

Reopening Former Residence Hall Space

Following the opening of Lake View Hall, the university took several halls offline. Providence Hall, Pacelli Hall and St. Ann’s Hall on the San Antonio campus were brought back online and are being utilized for greater social distancing. This greatly increased the availability of single rooms. Our spacious triple occupancy rooms have been converted to double occupancy rooms. There will be no more than two residents sharing bathroom space. Please visit the Residence Hall COVID-10 Response Frequently Asked Questions page for additional information.

Lounges, study rooms and laundry spaces have been adjusted to ensure proper distancing; signage and floor decals have been added as visual reminders.

Intensified cleaning of high-touch areas

Hands holding cloth
New procedures have been adopted for more frequent cleaning of high touch areas such as door handles, surfaces in common areas, hallways, elevator and stairwells.

Residence hall activities
