EMPLOYMENT/HUMAN RESOURCES

Mission Statement

The Human Resources Department will advance the overall mission of the University as we attract, develop, motivate and retain a diverse workforce within a supportive work environment. We will maximize excellent employee relations and personal and group performance through the provision of efficient, cost-effective, customer-responsive human resource services. We will provide leadership and guidance in the development, implementation, and equitable administration of policies and procedures, in order to foster a positive work environment.

To be considered for any staff position, it must be evident from the application that all education and experience requirements are met.

Grant Funded Positions
Specific terms of employment apply to positions designated as "Grant Funded." The continuation of the positions and the full time/part time status of grant funded positions are subject to the availability of funds. Also, while a full time employee in a grant funded position is eligible for the tuition assistance program, Employee Grant-in-Aid is not available for the spouse and children of employees in grant funded positions.
