COMPLETION SET FOR FALL 2010
THE REBUILDING OF MAIN

The rebuilding of Main is progressing rapidly under the direction of  Kell Muñoz Architects . The timeline calls for the project to be completed by fall 2010. Construction on the roof began in April 2009. Currently, analysis of applicable city building codes, particularly as they pertain to the use of the fourth floor, continues. After a competitive proposal process, OLLU has hired Bartlett Cocke General Contractors for the rebuilding of Main. The firm has performed significant higher education work including Trinity University, University of the Incarnate Word, and the University of Texas and Texas A&M systems. The firm possesses a demonstrated record of safety, LEED experience, technology applications and completion of projects on “occupied campuses.”
