Your family is now part of the OLLU community family. Lake Orientation includes sessions for your family to attend and learn more about the OLLU resources and traditions.
Saturday, Aug. 20, sessions include:
iGeneration Welcome:
Kick off Lake Orientation with a special welcome from OLLU President Dr. Tessa Martinez Pollack and members of the Sisters of Divine Providence, who founded the University.
Meet the First Year Connection students who will be the freshman class mentors.
Academic Accountability:
Receive valuable higher education tips that will help with academic success. Learn about the distinguished HALO leadership program.
Power of Choice:
Jermaine Davis, nationally acclaimed speaker, will discuss the power families have in a student’s life and the choices that must be made to support and encourage your student during the first year of college to obtain academic success.
Campus Connections:
Parents and families will learn about the services, history, and heritage of OLLU. Receive a special blessing from Mission and Ministry before you start on your journey home.
