We are a school that helps students develop their full potential in an environment that’s diverse, encouraging and stimulating.

Our Lady of the Lake University is a small, Catholic, private university with a deep connection to the history and community of San Antonio. Founded in 1895 by the Congregation of Divine Providence, we have developed a reputation for our personal teaching style and expertise in Mexican American culture. We are also famous for our beautiful, lakeside campus, which mixes historic buildings with a contemporary library, residence halls and technology infrastructure.

RECENT RECOGNITION:
How OLLU Stands Out From the Rest 
• OLLU was elevated to the national category by U.S. News and World Report ("America's Best Colleges 2012"). It moved up from Tier 1 of Regional Universities - West ("America's Best Colleges 2011").

• High school guidance counselors surveyed by US News and World Report ranked OLLU among the top 100 universities nationally for undergraduate education ("America's Best Colleges 2012").

• OLLU is among the top 25 universities nationally for awarding MBAs to Hispanics according to rankings from The Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education magazine (2012).

• Top Texas private university for awarding master's degrees to Hispanics, according to rankings from The Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education magazine (2011)

• Nationally, OLLU is in the top 50 of all universities for awarding master's degrees to Hispanics.

• OLLU was named to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for the third consecutive year for its work in Latina empowerment, education initiatives, and promoting economic opportunities. (2012)
