Six OLLU McNair Scholar graduates have El Paso roots
Three graduates are alumni of Horizon High School
(May 2, 2012) – As 314 graduates participate in commencement exercises on Saturday, May 5, seven represent the McNair Scholars program at Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU). Of those seven scholars, six call El Paso, Texas home. Sonia Bernal, Ana Flores, Veronica Garay, Elizabeth Holguin, Jesse Rojas and Flor Salas graduated from El Paso high schools and chose OLLU as the place to continue their educational endeavors.
