Gordon Hartman Family Foundation makes donation for OLLU’s Camp Jersig
Donation provides an all-expenses paid camp for children with cleft lip and/or palate

Six OLLU McNair Scholar graduates have El Paso roots
Three graduates are alumni of Horizon High School
(May 2, 2012) – As 314 graduates participate in commencement exercises on Saturday, May 5, seven represent the McNair Scholars program at Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU). Of those seven scholars, six call El Paso, Texas home. Sonia Bernal, Ana Flores, Veronica Garay, Elizabeth Holguin, Jesse Rojas and Flor Salas graduated from El Paso high schools and chose OLLU as the place to continue their educational endeavors. Designation allows university to continue building Information Assurance program
(April 24, 2012) – The National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have re-designated Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) as a National Center of Academic Excellence (CAE) in Information Systems Security Education for its undergraduate and graduate programs in Computer Information Systems and Security (CISS). University ranked second of San Antonio institutions on the list
(April 18, 2012) – Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) ranks No. 15 on The Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education magazine’s list of the top 25 schools that grant graduate degrees to Hispanics in business, management or marketing. OLLU names Dr. Mary Ann Acevedo to Moody Professorship

(Jan. 12, 2012) – Dr. Mary Ann Acevedo, professor of communication disorders, has been honored with the Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) Moody Professorship for 2011-2012.
