Biliterate Certificate Option
If you are interested in coaching, physical therapy, health/fitness management, personal training, or working for companies which make athletic products, OLLU’s Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology will give you the preparation you need for a career or graduate school.
Offered through OLLU’s College of Arts and Sciences, the Kinesiology degree prepares you to work with individuals at all stages in life from young children to older adults. The program also will prepare you for entrance into graduate programs in Kinesiology or clinical fields such as Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy.
Working with faculty mentors, many of our students take part in the Senior Experience course and earn credit while participating in an internship related to their career goals. Student internships have included work at physical and occupational therapy clinics, coaching positions in schools and community agencies, and training assistants with sports performance companies.
The BS in Kinesiology is a 128 credit hour program. Students must complete 38 hours in the major, 18 of which must be advanced hours.
