Fiesta returns to OLLU with Best of the West on April 21
Second annual event will feature headline acts Kyle Park and Hudson Moore
Are you ready for Fiesta®? OLLU’s second annual Best of the West Fiesta® event returns April 21 from 1-9 p.m. with entertainment headliners Kyle Park and Hudson Moore.

Meet OLLU’s new President Sister Jane Ann Slater, CDP, PhD
Sister Jane Ann Slater, CDP, PhD, OLLU’s new president, is not afraid to embrace mountainous challenges. Several years ago, she climbed Yosemite National Park’s famous granite formation, Half Dome, an all-day hike that took her up the side to the peak, more than 4,700 feet above the valley floor.

Remind students to register for the fall semester
It’s time to select classes and register for the fall 2013 semester. Early registration is now underway for seniors and juniors. All other undergraduate students can begin registering Wednesday, April 17.

Undergraduate study tour heading to New York City and Washington, D.C.
OLLU undergraduate students have the opportunity to visit New York City and Washington, D.C. through the OLLU study tour during the fall semester. The study tour will take place Oct. 12-19, 2013.

OLLU named to President's Community Service Honor Roll

OLLU has been named to the 2013 President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll sponsored by the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS). This is the fourth consecutive year OLLU has earned distinction on the Honor Roll.


OLLU families attended day of reflection and prayer
The Family Relations Office teamed up with OLLU’s Mission and Ministry Division and presented a day-long retreat for students and families on March 2. The event offered spiritual reflection on OLLU’s Core Values of Community, Integrity, Trust and Service.


Saints enjoyed much success throughout 2012-2013 school year
The Saints athletic teams have enjoyed a great deal of success this academic year. Most recently the Golf Team won the NAIA Classic at the Brickyard Crossing Golf Course in Indianapolis on April 9.

Important information for students regarding government sequestration
Sequestration is an across-the-board cutting mechanism that will impact most federal government programs including student financial aid.

Honors program accepting applications for fall 2013
The OLLU Honors Program is now accepting applications for the fall 2013 semester. Application materials are due by May 7. Acceptance decisions will not be made until final grades have been posted for spring 2013.

OLLU charm available for graduation
An Our Lady of the Lake University charm featuring an image of the Main Building is now available and it makes a great graduation gift.

Continuing Education opportunitiy available at OLLU
OLLU is hosting the professional development institute "Cultural Competence and Enrichment in the Workplace," Friday, May 10. It is a good opportunity for individuals who are interested in enhancing their own cultural competence in facilitating the cultural competence and enrichment of others in their respective workplaces.

Families can take part in OLLU’s Fall Foliage Tour
OLLU travel program is hosting a trip to New England this October to see tree-covered mountains ablaze in color. The program is open to OLLU families.
