This is the information page for the OLLU Emergency Alert System.
OLLU conducted a test of the Emergency Alert System on Tuesday, June 18, 2013. This was only a test.
In the event of a campus weather or public safety emergency, information will be provided on this page. Information also will be available by calling 210-431-4141.
The OLLU Emergency Alert System uses voice, text and e-mail messages to alert the OLLU community in the event of an emergency. Messages are sent to cell phones, home phones and University e-mail addresses.
Text messages will come from the number: 23177. Voice messages will come from 210-431-4141. Please save these numbers in your cell phone and program them as “OLLU Alert” so that you can quickly recognize them as the official source of emergency messages.
Messages are sent to home and cell phone numbers taken from records you provide to the University. Records are updated at the beginning of each semester. If you change your phone numbers during a semester, please provide updated information to the appropriate office:

If you do not want to receive text messages on your cell phone, you may opt out at any time by texting “STOP OLLU" or “QUIT OLLU" to 23177. If you opt out of text messaging, you will still receive voice and e-mail messages. OLLU e-mail addresses cannot unsubscribe from this system.
