OLLU featured in Blue Star exhibit through Sunday
The OLLU Visual Arts department will be featured in the first exhibit in the Blue Star Contemporary Art Center's newest venue, Blue Star_Lab.The exhibition, “Fire in the Belly: Undergraduate Art Survey,” opens tonight as part of the official opening of Blue Star_Lab, an annex of the Blue Star Contemporary Art Center. The opening starts at 6 p.m. and is free and open to the public. The Blue Star_Lab is located downtown at 114 Broadway. The exhibit continues through August 15.

OLLU was excited to learn earlier
this spring that the Visual Arts department had been juried into this exhibit at one of
the city’s premier venues for contemporary
art. The artists representing OLLU are a combination of current, deployed in Iraq and recent alumni. In addition to individual artists' work, OLLU's innovative and eye-catching VW and van (pictured) will be on display.The Blue Star_Lab will allow for expanded exhibitions from the Blue Star Main
Campus, as well as the promotion of experimental work, according to Blue Star's website.
