Our Lady of the Lake University held "Building Dreams," an event to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the May 6, 2008 fire. Students, alumni, donors and community members gathered to remember the fateful day but more importantly, to recognize the progress that had occurred since.

The rebuilding is moving forward and the fire's aftermath has positively impacted the University with a renewed spirit and desire for progress in spite of challenges.  While the date of the fire will forever be etched in the University's history and will be marked by memories of the historic Main Building - the first structure erected on the campus site in 1895 - the date marks the beginning of a time of great change and development for OLLU.

Visit the "Videos" page of the rebuilding site to see a video of the "Building Dreams" event and a time lapse of the daylong event, too.
