LAS POSADAS AT OLLU

Video: Las Posadas at OLLU

In 2008, OLLU celebrated the 21st annual Las Posadas, which is a Mexican tradition that commemorates the journey of Mary and Joseph from Nazareth. The event at OLLU has grown over the years and consistently draws a large crowd. 

The celebration begins with the procession as participants travel across the main campus from station to station, stopping to sing, pray and reflect.  A reception follows with hot chocolate, buñuelos, tamales and pan dulce.
