EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) offers a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction through the Department of Education in the School of Professional Studies. Education programs are designed to prepare the professional educator to understand and meet the education needs of a diverse student population; function in a global society; be life-long learners; and gain the skills and vision to be leaders in schools faced with the challenges of today.

Students complete required foundation courses as well as courses tailored for the chosen concentration as they meet academic requirements for state certification. The appropriate Texas Examination of Educator Standards (TExES) examination must be successfully completed for certification.
