SGA
STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION

What is SGA?

The Student Government Association (SGA) serves as the liaison between students and administration by coordinating events that allow students to voice their concerns. All OLLU students are members of SGA, whether full-time or part-time, directly from high school, transferred from a community college, or part of the Weekend and Evening Degree Program. University students are encouraged to participate in SGA activities and provide comments, concerns, and suggestions that will improve the University experience.

Our Voice Matters
At OLLU, the student voice matters. This is why students are constantly invited to contribute to the University in several ways, whether by sitting on a committee or by taking part in the many events offered by SGA for students to meet and converse with administration.

Q: How can I get involved?
A: The Student Voice Assembly

The Student Government Association (SGA) holds continuous events throughout the year to listen to student concerns and to have students be involved with university administration, staff, and faculty. The Student Voice Assembly is a meeting every two weeks that aims to keep open communication between students and between student organization leaders. This meeting is open to EVERYONE and all student concerns are welcome here. Stop by and get updated on what is happening at our university.

Service
SGA provides service to students as well as the community. By hosting, endorsing, and promoting several awareness events as well as service projects, SGA gives students the opportunity to learn and serve.

Dates for Student Voice Assembly Meetings:
All Meetings are held on Wednesdays in the Blue Room at 12:15 pm unless otherwise announced.
