  • Work has begun on the elevator in Moye Building.

  • Demolition of the Main Building roof continues and installation of the temporary roof will begin soon.

  • Work continues with local contractors and the city to get the mobile kitchen operational.

  • Work continues in the Sister Annie B Cafeteria with a goal of having it operational for the start of the fall semester.

  • Work continues in St. Martin Hall including painting and carpeting.

  • Reminders:
    last week's update regarding recommendations made by the workgroup facilitated by Kell Muñoz Architects, Inc.

  • If you have documents in storage at Port of San Antonio leased space, please read instructions on how to obtain the documents.

  • The University continues the series of interactive community outreach sessions to add the wisdom of external constituencies to the Board of Trustees' Rebuilding Task Force’s deliberations on the future of OLLU. The first session was a Westside Development Corporation-OLLU Community Conversation held on June 30 involving about 50 residents, business owners and Westside church, education and non-profit representatives. Other outreach sessions scheduled later this summer include a Business Advisory Forum, Elected Officials Advisory Panel and Philanthropists Advisory Panel

Other Updates:

  • Limited food service (sandwich shop) is available from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, in the UWAC.

  • Staff and faculty beverage privileges are back on in the UWAC. BRING YOUR OWN PLASTIC MUG TO RECEIVE THIS SERVICE.

  • Help Desk is fully online, support and help with priority needs and services are available.

  • Help Desk is now located in the 2nd floor of St. Martin Hall.

  • The back up (emergency) Help Desk number for the Help Desk Manager (Kim) is 210-872-1437.

  • Counseling assistance for faculty, staff and housekeeping staff is available at the Worden School of Social Service. Contact Dr. Tara Alexander at 210-771-2163 or Ann Reed at 210-431-3969.

  • Faculty may schedule a counselor to facilitate classroom conversations. Contact Lily Perez at 210-415-1742.

  • Visit and to witness how students, alumni and the community are coming together to show their suppor.
