Community Couseling Service, Psychology Department
Services are provided by psychologists, family therapists, counselors, and by doctoral and master’s-level graduate students from the Department of Psychology at Our Lady of the Lake University.
The primary training model used is a team approach with a supervisor providing immediate feedback to the team. This means you may have more than one therapist working with you along with other trainees. The team works together to provide the most support and ideas within a reasonable period of time. These individuals work with you to provide creative, caring solutions to your problems.
All supervisory staff are licensed as psychologists, marriage and family therapists, or professional counselors. They adhere to the strictest ethical and professional standards to ensure the best quality of care for clients.
In addition to clinical services, the CCS staff provides clinical supervision and consultation to community agencies and individuals. Post-graduate supervision for Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist licensures is available.
