Second Floor



Upon entering the main entrance of the library is the J.E. and Le Mabee Foundation Inc. Great Hall foyer. The foyer has double staircases leading up to the main (2nd floor) of the library. The Check out and Reserves Desk is located on the right. To the left is the Ask a Librarian Desk.

Wireless access is available for OLLU students, staff, and faculty throughout the entire library. An OLLU username and password is required.

Information Skills Lab
The lab has computers that can be accessed by OLLU faculty, staff or students. Reference librarians also teach library instructional classes here. Software is included on these computers. For a list of software; inquire at Ask a Librarian Desk.

DVD, CD, and VHS Collection
This collection is available for your viewing pleasure. We also have fictional books that can be checked out. For information about our circulation policy, and length of check out times, ask the Check out & Reserve Desk.

Current print journals
These are journals that the library owns, but aren't available online. They are organized in alphabetical order.

ADA accessible computer
There is one ADA accessible computer on the 3rd floor. There are also four computers on the second floor that can be used by the public.



Third Floor

The third floor is the Houston Endowment Books and Special Collection floor. The Special Collection is a “repository for rare books and manuscripts focusing primarily on Texana.” It is in Room 310 straight back upon entering the 3rd floor.

Print books are located on the 3rd floor. They are organized by the Library of Congress Classification System

Children’s books collection
Sueltenfuss Library has a youth collection. It is organized by the Dewey Decimal Classification system.

Graduate Study Carrels
There are 18 study carrels on the west end of the 3rd floor. They can only be checked out by graduate students.
