Get a TexShare Card:
TexShare Cards may be obtained at the Research Assistance desk at Sueltenfuss Library. For proper activation, an OLLU Librarian and the card requestor must sign the card. Only an OLLU librarian has permission to activate TexShare cards.
By signing a card, the requestor agrees to the privileges and obligations associated with participation in the program and agrees to comply with the terms and conditions of participation set out in the borrowers agreement.
A student at the Woodlands campus can ask for a TexShare card at the OLLU office located on the first floor of the University Center. You must present your OLLU ID card. An OLLU staff member will sign your TexShare card to activate it.
A student at the Rio Grande Valley campus can contact the San Antonio campus library at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1-800-846-4085 to request a TexShare card. The San Antonio campus will mail the card to the student's home address. Doctoral faculty may also have a limited number of cards available for distribution on-site.
An online student (residing in the State of Texas only) can contact the San Antonio campus library to request a TexShare card. Texshare cards are good only at participating Texas libraries.

Borrowers must present valid photo identification (OLLU ID, Texas driver's license, etc.) along with their OLLU-issued TexShare Card at the lending library's checkout desk.
Materials should be returned on or before the due date to the library from which they were borrowed, not to Sueltenfuss Library. It is the responsibility of the borrower to know when the materials are due back at the lending library.
Return materials in person to the lending library.
Borrower is responsible for any charges for late, damaged, or lost materials.
Lending policies are made by the individual libraries that participate in the TexShare Card program. Because of this, lending policies may vary from library to library. Click Here to check the lending policies of all participating TexShare libraries.
Borrowers agree to surrender the TexShare Card to TexShare library staff if requested.
OLLU student TexShare Cards expire at the end of each school term (expiration date is indicated on the card).
OLLU faculty and staff TexShare Cards expire August 31st of each year.
After a TexShare Card expires, a user may apply for a new card. To get a card, a student must be enrolled in the current school term; be conducting university related research; or completing previous coursework.
