MANDATORY HEALTH INSURANCE REQUIREMENT

HEALTH INSURANCE WAIVER
Our Lady of the Lake University has implemented mandatory Health Insurance coverage for all students registered in 7 hours or more per semester (excludes 100% online students). However, if you currently:
- Have insurance coverage for the academic year,
- Are 65 years or older,
- Have military insurance coverage.

Please complete a Health Insurance Waive Form to waive the fee automatically charged to your account.

Waiver form can be completed online by logging in to MyOLLU’s portal and completing waiver form under “Links to Forms”.

After the waiver form is completed and submitted, an email will be sent to the email on file, confirming that you have completed and submitted your waiver. .

Per Our Lady of the Lake University policy, International Students are not allowed to waive coverage.

Deadline to submit waiver information will be in the email from the Student Business office. Late waivers will not be considered and posted charge will remain.


Student Athletes are required to have Health Insurance coverage that includes athletic coverage. Student athletes are eligible to purchase the student insurance offered through the University if they do not have their own health insurance coverage.
