PRE-HEALTH PROGRAMS

The “pre-health” academic pathways, which include pre-medical, pre-dental, pre-optometry, pre-pharmaceutical, pre-veterinary, pre-physician’s assistant, pre-nursing and pre-occupational or physical therapy, prepare you for entry and further study in graduate professional programs.

OLLU offers several majors and minors to prepare you for medical school or other graduate studies programs. Most health and allied health graduate programs have certain pre-requisites in mathematics, chemistry and biology. A strong biology and biochemical background is needed for taking the MCAT, the medical school entrance exam.
