Spanish is the second most widely spoken language in the United States and the third in the world.  Many of our students combine a Spanish with secondary teacher certification while others choose the biliterate certificate option offered in their majors.

Students who graduate with a minor in Spanish go on to earn master’s and doctoral degrees in the language or work in business, government, international commerce, social service agencies, communications, and the enormous variety of companies and organizations that service our nation’s growing Spanish-speaking clientele.
