MEET THE STAFF
THE WOODLANDS WEEKEND COLLEGE
Fluent in Portugese and English with sophisticated cross-cultural, valued to select audiences on behalf of OLLU goals. Solange has been working in the areas of Education, Management, Business, and Human Services. As a nurse, she served the Brazilian government in the areas of consciousness safety, and preventive care. Solange earned an ABD, PhD in I/O Psychology, and an MBA. She believes in volunteer work, she is a "Part Time Hero" for Child Advocate, Inc.
Tamara is an alumna of OLLU-The Woodlands. Prior to joining OLLU, she spent three years as an adjunct faculty member for Lone Star College System. She uses the skills that she learned in the classroom as a facilitator along with her own experience of being a student at OLLU-The Woodlands. She enjoys traveling, watching football games, and having fun with her niece and nephew.
Undergraduate Admissions Counselor
Melissa is a graduate of OLLU- San Antonio, receiving both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English. As a former Lake Ambassador, she was involved with many of the school's events and has knowledge of the history and traditions of OLLU. She hopes to bring her experiences as a student and staff member at OLLU Sueltenfuss library to assist students as they continue to further their education. She also enjoys going to the movies, spending time with friends and family, and her yorkie Coco.
Academic Advisor - Human Science & Liberal Studies
Wantrice is an alumna of OLLU - The Woodlands. Prior to joining OLLU, she spent over 10 years with AT&T gaining experience in two major areas: account management and customer relations. She uses those skills to help students and faculty achieve their goals. During her down time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and traveling.
Natalie is a recent graduate of UT-Austin. Prior to joining OLLU, she was an advisor to over 1100 students in the Mechanical Engineering program at UT. Advising, to her, is much more than explaining degree requirements, discussing courses and recommending course sequencing. To her, advising is working with students, listening and learning with them, and helping them to reach their full potential, personally and professionally. She enjoys traveling, the lake, watching sports, and anything else that involves having fun and laughing with great friends and family.
Sandy is a current student enrolled in the graduate Psychology program, specializing in Individual & Family Therapy at OLLU - The Woodlands. Prior to joining OLLU, she spent over 25 years in the higher education industry, focusing primarily on advising students about financing a college education early on in her career and later working with various colleges and universities nationwide to support student services software implementations. At OLLU, she enjoys helping students and faculty with any administrative and academic requirements. In her free time, Sandy enjoys cruising, reading, cooking and spending time with her rescue dog Zoe.
Patsy has been with OLLU - The Woodlands since 1995. Prior to joining OLLU, Patsy held data processing and administrative positions with the State of Virginia service industry and with a medical supply manufacturing company. Patsy’s passion is assisting students and she treats all students – prospective and current – as members of the OLLU community.
