Awards Banquet

The annual awards banquet and dinner will be held on Friday, April 5 at the Congregation of Divine Providence Chapel Auditorium (adjacent to the OLLU Main Building) beginning at 6:30 p.m. This event is a celebration of the scholarly and creative works by students, faculty, and community leaders.

In addition to the dinner and entertainment, we will also be giving two special awards: The “Maria Antonietta Berriozabal Visionary Leadership Award”  which is named after former San Antonio City Councilwoman; and the Sister Maria ‘MC’ Flores Outstanding Student Scholar Award” which is named after the founding Director of the OLLU Center for Mexican American Studies and Research.

The cost to attend the Awards Banquet is included in the registration fee for participants in the Higher Education Institute. Students may purchase tickets at a reduced rate (see registration section for more information).

Registration for the Awards Banquet for individuals not attending the Higher Education Institute is also available. The cost for full-time students is $15. For all others, it is $35.
