Happy Spring Saints Family! We have had an amazing first year in the Family Relations Office. Since our program began last spring, we have had the pleasure of introducing ourselves to families during Lake Days, reconnecting during orientation, inviting families to tailgates, sharing OLLU traditions like Boo Bash and Candlelight, creating a family newsletter and hosting our first family weekend. Additionally, we began a meeting series called ‘Cafécito and Conversation,’ where families meet on a quarterly basis to learn about and discuss topics important to family members of college students.

Although much has been accomplished, we value your input and participation while continuing to develop this program. One of our biggest goals is to create a family association that will be primarily run by family members, and will create an opportunity for families to network and play a bigger role in the OLLU community. We also plan on starting a Facebook page for Saints’ families to stay connected to all of the happenings at OLLU.

Finally, I would like to congratulate each one of you for your awesome accomplishment of getting through the first year of college with your student.
