The Graduate Education programs at OLLU serve two types of students: Certified teachers seeking additional areas of specialization and degreed professionals who want to transition into the teaching field and earn initial teacher certification.

Master of Arts - Special Education
Initial Teacher Certification
Degree professionals who wish to transition to the teaching field and earn initial teacher certification should apply for Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program. Unlike alternative certification programs, the MAT allows you to earn a master's degree and prepares you to sit for a certification exam.
