OLLU Drama. Where Dreams Come True!
OLLU’s Drama Department prepares students for professions in theater as actors, directors, and writers and for admission into graduate theater programs through a conservatory style educational program that provides students with a hands-on, interactive learning experience.
The Theater concentration focuses on acting and directing with courses also offered in theater history and technical production to give students a better understanding of what a director and/or actor needs to know about the history and technical workings of theater.

Drama students have the opportunity to direct, act, and exhibit their plays in the annual 24th Street Theatre Senior Showcase.
The Drama Department also produces two theatrical productions a year, giving students the opportunity to work alongside their professors as stage managers, assistant directors, and technical directors.
OLLU’s Drama Department lays the groundwork for students to be successful actors whether they plan to have careers in theater or to continue their studies at the graduate level. This is achieved through a professional, hands-on style of teaching whereby students are involved in all levels of stage and screen production, creating an interactive learning environment in which the Drama students at OLLU thrive.
