Academic Organizations

The following student academic organizations are Recognized Student Organizations (RSO). These groups operate on a voluntary and self-governing basis. These groups are funded through membership dues, fundraising projects and funding allocations from the Student Government Association.

Cyber Saints

An organization that allows real-world experience in the IT field.

Art Ink

A student organization built to showcase and learn about art history.

Bilingual Education Student Organization (BESO)

An organization that promotes the content, procedures and philosophy of the bilingual, bicultural education at OLLU.

Criminal Justice Society

An organization that creates awareness and provides networking opportunities for individuals in the field of criminal justice.  

Educators Rising

This organization encourages a greater understanding and training in the field of education, as well as performs community service. 

Lake Front

This student organization informs the OLLU community of campus news, upcoming events and key university members.

Law and Politics Society 

The Law and Politics Society works to promote educational activities which foster knowledge of the political world and help students understand their purpose and contribution to the judicial system. 

STEAM Club

The STEAM Club provides learning opportunities for students to better their mathematical skills through workshops and tutoring sessions. 

Lake Music Society 

This organization cultivates music education on campus and provides musical experiences for OLLU and the community.

National Student Speech Language Hearing Association

This organization strives to build a closer affiliation between students and professionals in the field of communication disorders. 

Psychology Graduate Student Association

This organization provides networking opportunities for graduate/doctoral students, and participation in professional organizations and field-related workshops. 

Saints Medical Society

This organization provides opportunities for career choices in health occupations and assisting the members growth and development in that field. 

School Psychology Student Organization

This organization increases awareness of OLLU's psychology program by increasing membership and attendance in professional organizations. 

Worden Social Work Organization

This organization provides a forum for exploring the interests of students pursuing degrees in the field of social work.
